Therefore smoking is not permitted in studios or any enclosed or substantially enclosed area. For recordings or performances which require smoking to be portrayed, other artificial products will need to be used.<BR/><BR/><B>Production Location</B><BR/>Smoking is not permitted on any enclosed BBC production location. If an outside (i.e. unenclosed) area of the location is used for smoking, then the individual must ensure that they dispose of any smoking materials safely.<BR/><BR/>Where the filming script requires an actor, presenter or contributor to smoke in an unenclosed area all best efforts should be made to ensure that they and those involved in the production are not exposed to the smoke for a prolonged period of time. <BR/><BR/>I could've sworn I'd read that the UK banned smoking on film sets, but I think now I might've been mistaken.<BR/><BR/>I hope someday to be a screenwriter, and my scripts will never have smoking, and any sales will require a no-smoking clause.<BR/><BR/>I am an ex-smoker and did MUCH damage to my lungs whilst smoking.I'm Stranger than Fictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13288828118149311380noreply@blogger.com
